ATT celebrates tenth anniversary amidst Treaty's violations

On 19–23 August, delegations met in Geneva for the Tenth Conference of States Parties (CSP10) to the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT). This year marks the tenth anniversary of entry into force of the ATT. In the five days of the Conference, states highlighted the Treaty's accomplishments in the first decade, but refused to take meaningful action to address current challenges, including violations of articles 6 and 7 of the Treaty being committed by states parties.
