Tenth NPT Review Conference is postponed due to COVID-19

The Tenth Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) was scheduled to meet 4-28 January 2022 in New York. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference has been postponed to a later date.

The President-designate of the Review Conference has asked for a tentative hold to be placed on the dates of 1 to 26 August 2022 for the Review Conference. Those dates are subject to formal confirmation by states parties at a later date.
