UN talks on autonomous weapons proceed in Geneva

On 24 September 2021, the UN body dealing with autonomous weapon systems - the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW) Group of Governmental Experts (GGE) - resumed its work in Geneva. The GGE will meet until 1 October 2021, focusing in particular on the Chair's revised paper and preparations of the GGE's report to the CCW Review Conference.
