Formal discussions on autonomous weapons resume in Geneva

Today the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW)'s group of governmental experts on autonomous weapon systems convenes in Geneva in a formal session for the first time since 2019. The group will meet from 3-13 August in-person, with live streaming available via UN Web TV. RCW will monitor the discussions and publish a weekly CCW Report.
