Open-ended working group on the prevention of an arms race in outer space in all its aspects

The Open-ended working group (OEWG) on the prevention of an arms race in outer space in all its aspects will convene its organizational session on 6 and 7 February 2025 at the Palais des Nations, United Nations Office at Geneva. The new OEWG will operate for the period of 2024-2028 and it was established by decision 79/512 taken at the last First Committee, when states decided to replace the two OEWGs previously established by resolutions 78/20 and 78/238.
