Let's talk cyber: OEWG multi-stakeholder dialogue series

From 4-10 December 2020, non-governmental stakeholders are invited to participate in a series of online dialogues intended to complement the UN Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG) on developments in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) in the context of international security. 

Taking place in a new virtual format, it is an informal event at the initiative of the non-governmental, multi-stakeholder community and a number of UN member states. The dialogue series is intended to complement the OEWG, but it is not a formal part of the OEWG process. While informal, this constitutes an informal input mechanism from stakeholders to the process. Member states can participate in order to listen and interact with stakeholders.

WILPF will co-host two dialogue sessions on 9 December 2020, looking at the topics of regular institutional dialogue, and gender and international cyber security.
