WILPF contributes to the Routledge Handbook of Masculinities, Conflict, and Peacebuilding
The Routledge Handbook of Masculinities, Conflict, and Peacebuilding, edited by features an analysis that goes beyond “direct, physical, conflict-related violence to examine less visible forms of violence and power as well as other ways in which masculinities interact with conflict and peace.” RCW's Director Ray Acheson authored a chapter in the book titled “Confronting Masculinities and Breaking Binaries in Disarmament Diplomacy.” Dean Peacock and Angelica Pino from WILPF's Mobilising Men for Feminist Peace project wrote the chapter “Seeing the Forest for the Trees: The case of a more structural approach to countering militarised masculinities and mobilising men for feminist peace,” with Laura Pascoe and Patrick Welsh.
