UN working group on autonomous weapons concludes informal talks

On 27 and 29 June, the Chair of the Group of Governmental Experts (GGE) on autonomous weapon systems (AWS) convened the third and final informal, virtual intersessional discussion. This round of informal discussions focused on the topics of risk identification and assessment, mitigation measures, and good practices relating to human-machine interaction (HMI). These informal talks are in preparation for the GGE's second formal session to be held 25-29 July 2022 in Geneva.
