Sixth CCW Review Conference gets underway

The Sixth Review Conference of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW) began its work on 13 December, to continue until the 17th. It will be addressing the next mandate for the Group of Governmental Experts on autonomous weapon systems, as well as next steps for work on incendiary weapons, mines other antipersonnel mines, improvised explosive devices, and other critical issues.
