Final UN meeting on autonomous weapons for 2021 gets underway

The UN Group of Governmental Experts on autonomous weapon systems began the final session of 2021 on 2 December in Geneva. The meeting will continue until 8 December, with the intention of adopting a report and recommendations for the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW) Review Conference, scheduled for 13-17 December.
