ICAN Paris Forum brings together activists and artists for antinuclear action

ICAN Paris ForumFrom 14-15 February 2020, over a hundred anti-nuclear campaigners, activists, students, academics, and others came together in Paris to learn from each other and to plot the way ahead for the abolition of nuclear weapons. The packed ICAN Paris Peace Forum’s programme featured a diverse range of themes and speakers, such as Hiroshima-bomb survivor Setsuko Thurlow and Diné antinuclear activist Leona Morgan.

RCW's director Ray Acheson spoke on a panel about challenging structural oppressions and systems of power like patriarchy, racism, and militarism alongside other activists working on human rights and climate change.
