Peace Action New York State honours Jeremy Scahill

Peace Action Fund of New York State will honour journalist Jeremy Scahill with the William Sloane Coffin, Jr. Peacemaker Award at its annual event. Jeremy Scahill is the founding editor of The Intercept, contributing editor to The Nation magazine and author of the international bestseller Blackwater: The Rise of the World’s Most Powerful Mercenary Army, for which he received the George Polk Book Award. His newest book and documentary, Dirty Wars: The World Is a Battlefield, has been nominated for an Academy Award.
